1. Who we are
Digityza is a digital marketing agency. We help businesses with SEO, web design, paid advertising, social media, branding, AI and automation, and franchise marketing services. We're based in Ontario, Canada, and we serve clients across the United States and Canada.
Throughout this policy, "Digityza," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Digityza. "You" refers to anyone who visits our website, fills out a form, books a call, becomes a client, or otherwise interacts with us.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at privacy@digityza.com.
2. What we collect
We collect three categories of information.
Information you give us directly
When you fill out a contact form, book a call, sign up for a tool, or become a client, you provide things like your name, email address, phone number, company name, role, website URL, and whatever you tell us about your business in conversation.
Information collected automatically
When you visit digityza.com, we automatically collect technical information about your visit: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, time spent on pages, referring URL, and similar analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel for this. We also use LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure ad performance.
Information from third parties
If you book a call through our scheduler or sign up for a Digityza tool, we receive whatever information that platform shares with us (typically name, email, and what you signed up for).
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and book the calls you request
- Deliver the marketing services our clients pay for
- Send you proposals, contracts, and invoices
- Send you email updates if you've subscribed
- Improve our website and figure out what content and pages are useful
- Run our own marketing — including ads on Google, Meta, and LinkedIn that show our services to people who fit our customer profile
- Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud
We do not sell your personal information. We never have, and we won't.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or as required by law.
- Contact form submissions: up to 2 years after your last interaction, unless you become a client
- Client records: for the duration of our engagement plus 7 years (for tax and legal reasons)
- Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe
- Analytics data: typically 14 months in Google Analytics, then aggregated
You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see "Your rights" below.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have about you
- Get a copy of it
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Ask us to delete it (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Withdraw consent at any time for things you opted into (like email marketing)
- Object to certain uses of your information
- Lodge a complaint with the privacy regulator in your province or state
In Canada, the relevant regulator is the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca). Ontario residents may also contact the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario.
In the United States, California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what categories of information we collect and to opt out of "sale" of personal information (we don't sell, so this is moot, but it's your right to ask).
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@digityza.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
8. How we protect your information
We use reasonable physical, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. This includes encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on internal systems, and staff training.
No system is 100% secure. If we ever experience a breach that puts your information at meaningful risk, we'll notify you and the relevant regulators as required by law.
9. Children
Digityza's services are aimed at businesses, not individuals under 18. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email privacy@digityza.com and we'll delete it.
10. Cross-border data
Digityza is based in Ontario, Canada. Our service providers may be located in the United States, Canada, or elsewhere. When we send information across borders, we do so under contractual safeguards consistent with applicable privacy laws.
If you're in the US, your information may be transferred to Canada. If you're in Canada, your information may be transferred to the US (most of our tools are US-based). By using our services, you consent to these transfers.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we'll do something more visible — like an email or a banner on the site.
Your continued use of digityza.com after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
